A red bonnet for Christmas!

I have put the Snowmen by Kristy Robb back out. My little plastic reindeer prance down the shelves.
My own original Santa, hubby's favorite.
I guess it's hard to see, my paper mache has a red bonnet now. So festive for the holidays.

A new dress

Here she is in a proper dress. Much more fitting than the old melting mourning silk black dress which was sewn onto and through her body!

Flirty Eyed Doll

This little dolly came home with me today. She's had some tinkering done, and I am slowly undoing it. He lips were painted over with a peachy garish smear. Gone¡ He dress was sewn on, disguising her shoulder repair. I love her flirty eyes, they seem to follow me. I am going to have to work to get her something suitable to wear. Her former owner gave her synthetic laces in her shoes. Those will be gone too.
I love the seam in her head, this shows how the head was cut open to insert the eye mechanism.
Before, too much orange¡
And after, demure and pure again.

Cuddly, shabby and cute

The local mall contained some bears, dogs, and darling dolls, among them this Chase baby. The doll was needing some repairs, however it was still very appealing. The little donkey was nice too.
A little P-90 Toni who seems to have a cleaning job in mind!

I wanted this Kewpie but left him behind.

Pretty basket and mache who had a banged up nose and a distintegrating body.

La Vie en Rose

The following doll is available at Carmel Doll Shop. The price will be shocking, yet I know I would not be alone in choosing her over a new car. Ha!

Oh to be a parisienne, circa 1865. You can have ample hips, wear practical shoes, warm woolen stockings and gobs of silk and lace and no one would think anything other than you are gorgeous. Feast your eyes!
